The Human Services Advisory Committee studies and discusses topics relating to the human service areas that Minnesota counties are responsible for including social services, public health, and income maintenance. It has most recently made recommendations to the County Board concerning child neglect, families experiencing homelessness, the status of new immigrants, health care services for the uninsured and the underinsured, and the rising rate of sexually transmitted infections.
