The Physical Development Committee of the Whole meets monthly on Tuesdays at 9 a.m. or following the Community Services Committee of the Whole in Conference Room L139 at the Western Service Center in Apple Valley, Minnesota. The meetings are open to the public. The agenda for the next meeting will be available here on the Friday preceding the meeting.

The Physical Development Committee of the Whole reviews matters of business from the Physical Development Division. All seven county commissioners are members of this committee. This committee considers policy decisions concerning development, regulation, preservation, and management of the land, water, parks, and roads and highways.
Some of the program areas addressed by this committee are: environmental management; farmland and natural areas protection; geographic information systems (GIS); parks; planning; roads and highways; and survey and plats.
