Even more beautiful by candlelight
 The Trails by Candlelight event scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 11 from 6–9 p.m. at the Lebanon Hills Visitor Center in Eagan is still on, but with minor changes.
In years where there is plenty of snow, the Trails by Candlelight event hosts hundreds of cross-country skiers and snowshoers. With the lack of snow this year, the event is being transformed into an evening of hiking and ice skating by candlelight. Four miles of wooded park trails will be lined with candles for an evening hike, and candles will also line a one-half mile ice skating trail and ice rink.
Several bonfires and the Lebanon Hills Visitor Center will be available for event goers to warm up. Hot chocolate, hot dogs, mini donuts and more will be available for purchase in a concession trailer next to the Visitor Center.
The Trails by Candlelight event is open to all ages. Pre-register by Thursday, Feb. 9 for $8 per person or at the door for $10 per person. Youth ages 5 and under free. Bring your own ice skates. Register now.
