One of the best fleets in the country
 The Board of Commissioners honored the Dakota County Fleet Management Department at Tuesday's Board Meeting after being named one of Government Fleet Magazine’s top 100 fleets for 2011.
The list identifies outstanding operations for others to emulate and promotes ever-increasing levels of productivity and operational effectiveness.
Dakota County is the only fleet from Minnesota to make this year’s list, which recognizes the leading fleets from across the country. The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources fleet received an honorable mention.
