Make your business a little more green
 Businesses in Apple Valley, Burnsville and Eagan can learn about recycling, reducing energy use, reusing materials and employee green teams at the Green Business Workshop held Sept. 13 from 8:30–10:30 a.m. at the Eagan Community Center.
Participants will receive current information on green initiatives such energy-saving equipment group-buys, environmentally-preferable purchasing and sustainability best practices. The can also connect with utility representatives and sustainability experts about free and low-cost programs, grants, loans and technical assistance.
The workshop is free to attend and will feature a panel of community businesses that have implemented energy and waste reduction initiatives. Registration is required by Sept. 6. If online registration is not an option, please call 952-895-4511 to register by phone.
The workshop is hosted by Dakota Valley Recycling through a partnership with Dakota County and a collaboration with the cities of Apple Valley, Burnsville and Eagan.
