Jump start the job search
 Re-energize your job search for 2010 at January Jump Start, a conference for job seekers, Thursday, Jan. 21 from 8 a.m.–3 p.m. at the Northern Service Center.
The 9th annual event, hosted by the Dakota Scott County WorkForce Centers, will feature Bob Klatt who will deliver the keynote address, promoting a positive attitude and creating new opportunities from change. Klatt, also known as Bowler Bob, promises a “inspirational” message.
Workshops will be offered on a variety of topics, including: Labor Market Information, Interviewing 101, Generations in the Workplace, Transformation to a Green Economy, Linked-In: Job Search Networking Tools, and Financial Survival in Today’s Economy.

Free bus service is available from the Burnsville and Shakopee WorkForce Centers to the event. If you’d like to ride the bus, please reserve your seat when registering for the event.
