On the road
Minnesota Mosiac programming begins March 15.Explore what sets Minnesota apart from the other 49 states through author appearances, history programs, musical performances and writing workshops this spring at the Dakota County Library.

The Minnesota Mosaic® spring series begins March 15 when Minnesota Historical Society curator Patrick Coleman discusses Minnesota’s first explorations.

Other programs offer opportunities to view breathtaking photographs from Minnesota’s state parks or hear from travel and cookbook authors. Tap your toes to folk and country blues performed by musicians. Let the stories of a Union soldier give you a view of Minnesota during the Civil War. Spend time with author Erin Hart at a “Walk ‘n’ Talk” or join The Loft Literary Center to learn about travel writing. There are 14 fun, inspiring and educational arts and literary events happening this spring to suit everyone’s tastes—all for free.

For more information, visit the Library Calendar of Events. This series was funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
