Public Notice: 2009 HOME Program Year
The purpose of this Notice is to announce the start of a 30-day public comment period on a proposed amendment to the Dakota County HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) Program’s Budget for Program Year 2009.
Proposed amendment to the 2009 HOME Program Year:
The Dakota County CDA is proposing to reallocate $310,744.78 of available 2009 HOME funds to a new senior housing development proposed for 1921 Burnsville Parkway in Burnsville. The 2009 HOME funds were previously allocated to a family housing development in Lakeville that received adequate funding from other sources and does not need the full amount of HOME funds originally allocated.
The Burnsville senior housing development is a joint effort between the Dakota County CDA and Presbyterian Homes and will consist of approximately 60 assisted living units owned by the CDA and managed by Presbyterian Homes and 80 independent living units owned and managed by the Dakota County CDA.
Please submit written and/or oral comments to the CDA to the attention of Stephanie Newburg, HOME Program Coordinator, Dakota County CDA, 1228 Town Centre Drive, Eagan, MN 55123. Telephone: 651-675-4466, Fax: 651-675-4444, MN Relay Service: 1-800-627-3529.
This information is also available on the CDA’s web site at www.dakotacda.org and on the Dakota County website at www.dakotacounty.us. The Dakota County CDA will accept comments now through July 19, 2010. Upon request, this amendment will be available in an alternative format by contacting the CDA.
