Honoring our veterans
 Author Al Zdon will visit the Farmington Library on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 1:30-2:30 p.m. Zdon, a Vietnam veteran, will discuss his book War Stories, Volume II: Further Accounts of Minnesotans Who Defended Their Nation.
The book, a sequel to his original book, War Stories, tells the story of 35 Minnesota veterans who served in various wars. The event is free and everyone is welcome.
Zdon is communications director for the Minnesota American Legion and edits the Minnesota Legionnaire newspaper. Previously, he was managing editor of the Hibbing Daily Tribune for 20 years. He has authored several books relating to Minnesota history.
