Resident Surveys
Understanding the needs of residents is important to Dakota County government. Over the past 20 years, several surveys collecting citizens' opinions have been conducted.
The partner counties worked together with the National Research Center, Inc. (NRC) to develop a survey instrument with a set of shared questions. Because comparisons can now be made across counties, Dakota County can identify strengths and weaknesses and take steps in the right direction.
