Can I deny my child's parent visitation if the parent hasn't been paying child support?
If you have an Order that establishes visitation, you must comply with it or face contempt of court. Similarly, the non-custodial parent can also be found in contempt for non-payment of child support. Interference with visitation does not automatically excuse the payment of child support. Nonpayment of child support does not automatically eliminate visitation rights.
