Minneapolis Woman Pleads Guilty to Embezzlement from Sun Country
| [July 8, 2008] Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Kelly Jean Dillon-Love, age 45 of Minneapolis, pleaded guilty today to five counts of Theft by Swindle (all felonies) in connection with an embezzlement of over $200,000 from Sun Country Airlines. The case against co-defendant Grady Jackson Jr., age 35 last known in Minneapolis, is pending. Judge Karen Asphaug ordered a pre-sentence investigation and scheduled her sentencing for September 12, 2008. Backstrom said his office will seek an upward departure from the sentencing guidelines because Dillon-Love’s conduct constituted a major economic offense. |
