Man Charged in Apple Valley Hit and Run
| [July 31, 2009] Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Eric James Hunter, age 40 of Rosemount, has been charged* with two counts of Leaving the Scene of an Accident Involving a Death (both felonies) and one count of Driving After Suspension (a misdemeanor) in connection with leaving the scene after hitting Joan LeVasseur (who was 26 years old) of Apple Valley, on March 6, 2009, at the intersection of Cedar and 153rd Street in Apple Valley. LeVasseur later died from her injuries. |
