High School Teacher/Coach Sentenced for Sexual Conduct with Student
| [February 5, 2010] Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Melissa Diana Koehn, age 31 from Kenosha, Wisconsin, was sentenced today by Judge Robert King to 150 days in jail, probation for 10 years and a fine of $200 in connection with sexual contact with a 17-year-old female in December of 2008. Koehn was convicted by a Dakota County jury on November 20, 2009 of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the Fourth Degree. These charges allege that Koehn was in a position of authority or had a significant relationship with the victim at the time of the sexual contact. The judge stayed the execution of a 36-month sentence which is an upward durational departure. |
