Eagan Man Sentenced to Criminal Vehicular Homicide in Apple Valley
| Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Logan Hunter McFarland, age 20 of Eagan, was sentenced today by Judge John Connolly to 50 months in prison in connection with a fatal crash in Apple Valley on January 28, 2007. McFarland pleaded guilty in December to one count of Criminal Vehicular Homicide and two counts of Criminal Vehicular Operation Resulting in Bodily Harm. The Judge determined that McFarland was also guilty of Criminal Vehicular Operation Resulting in Substantial Bodily Harm. McFarland was also ordered to pay restitution.
