Lakeville Woman Pleads Guilty and Is Sentenced in Death of Infant Grandson
[November 2, 2009] Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Tina Louise Miller-Steiner, age 46 of Lakeville, pled guilty today to one count of Manslaughter in the Second Degree (Neglect of a Child) and was sentenced by Judge Tim Wermager to a Stay of Execution of 48 months in prison, was placed on probation for 10 years, and was sentenced to serve 45 days in the county jail. In addition, she must pay restitution in connection with the death of her infant grandson at her Lakeville home in May, 2009.
