Mendota Heights Woman Pleads Guilty to Stealing from City of Lilydale and Is Sentenced
| [May 24, 2010] Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Joan Marie Olin, age 49 of Mendota Heights, pled guilty today to one count of Theft by Swindle in connection with her receipt of over $3,300 in excess of her salary and other entitlements from her employer, the City of Lilydale. Olin was sentenced by Judge Gabriel Giancola to 10 days in jail, 5 years of probation and ordered to pay restitution in an amount to be determined. Olin cannot seek employment where she would have access to funds. |
