Lakeville Man Sentenced for Taking Lewd Photos of Teen
[November 15, 2010] Dakota County Attorney James C. Backstrom announced that Sunil Jaigobin Ramlall, age 38 of Lakeville, pled guilty today to Use of a Minor in a Sexual Performance (a felony) and was sentenced to 90 days in jail by Judge Mary Theisen in connection a scheme to lure a 16-year-old girl into a photographic “modeling” shoot that occurred at the Dakota County Western Service Center in Apple Valley on November 23, 2009. Ramlall was also ordered to pay a fine of $300 and restitution. In addition, Ramlall must register as a predatory offender, serve five years of probation, undergo a psychological evaluation and follow the recommendations, and to enter and complete sex offender treatment. All other charges were dismissed.
