Lakeville Man Acquitted of Murder
| [February 28, 2009] Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced today that Charlie Otto Reynolds, age 32 of Lakeville, has been acquitted of Murder in the First Degree with Premeditation, Murder in the Second Degree with intent to kill, Murder in the Second Degree without intent to kill while committing the felony of First Degree Assault and Murder in the Second Degree without intent to kill while committing the felony of Second Degree Assault, by a Dakota County Jury in connection with the beating death of Joshua Jay Skare, age 33 of Apple Valley, which occurred on March 16, 2008 in Lakeville. The jury deliberated for approximately 30 hours. Reynolds was previously indicted by a Grand Jury with all of these counts in July of 2008. |
