Eagan Man Sentenced for Embezzling from Employer
| [July 2, 2009] Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Michael Ray Sauve, age 43 of Eagan, was sentenced today by Judge Karen Asphaug to 98 months in prison in connection with stealing funds from his Burnsville employer in excess of $165,000 from 2003 through March 2008. Sauve pleaded guilty May 29, 2009 to four counts of Theft and one count of Theft by Swindle (all felonies). This is a double upward departure under Minnesota Sentencing Guidelines. |
