Former Apple Valley Massage Therapist Sentenced for Criminal Sexual Conduct
| [February 14, 2011] Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Lawrence Martin Valencour, age 62 of Minneapolis, was sentenced to 132 months in prison by Judge Thomas Poch in connection with inappropriate touching of multiple female customers while employed at a massage business in Apple Valley from August to November in 2008. Valencour was convicted by Judge Thomas Poch of six felony counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the Fourth Degree following the court trial that took place during the week of November 8, 2010. In addition to the incarceration, Valencour will have to register as a predatory offender, attend sex offender treatment and pay restitution. |
