Former Apple Valley Massage Therapist Convicted of Criminal Sexual Conduct
| [December 8, 2010] Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Lawrence Martin Valencour, age 62 of Minneapolis, has been convicted by Judge Thomas Poch of six felony counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the Fourth Degree. These offenses were charged in connection with inappropriate touching of multiple female customers while employed at a massage business in Apple Valley from August to November in 2008. Valencour was charged by summons in July of 2009. The court trial took place during the week of November 8, 2010. The judge ordered a pre-sentence investigation and psychosexual evaluation and set the sentencing for February 14, 2011 at 8:30 a.m. in Hastings. |
