Continuum of Juvenile Services
Juvenile supervision provides a continuum of services based on juvenile offenders' assessed risk to re-offend or the offense type. These services include:

  • Intensive supervision and case management for the highest risk juvenile offenders, which includes frequent contact with probation officers, setting curfews, regular urinalysis, and appropriate response to non-compliance
  • One to one supervision for high to medium risk offenders, using case plans that address each juvenile's risks and needs
  • Phone supervision for moderate to low risk offenders.

Community Corrections strives to keep juveniles in their home communities as much as possible. Specialized caseloads include intensive, sex offender, gender specific, and truancy supervision.

For some offenders, court ordered placement in foster homes, treatment facilities or secure facilities is necessary.
