Sex Offender Supervision
All juvenile offenders involved in sex-related offenses are assigned to a specialized caseload, allowing the probation officer to focus on specific risk and need factors.  Offenders are assessed using several tools:
  • The Youth Level of Service Inventory (YLSI), to assess criminality, and
  • The Estimate of Risk of Adolescent Sexual Offense Recidivism (ERASOR), to determine the level of treatment the offender will need.

Individual case plans for offenders involved in sex-related offenses are designed to support therapeutic interventions and to integrate community supports.
