Geography is an essential area of study for all students. The Office of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) at Dakota County wants to encourage young people to learn about geography and GIS. To further that goal, staff from the Office of GIS have made several visits to local schools to teach students about GIS, what it is and how we use it.
