Orientation Information for MRC-DC Volunteers

To be fully registered as an Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) volunteer, you must complete an orientation course, either online or in a classroom setting. After completing the orientation, you will need to complete additional forms and have your photo taken for a picture identification badge.

The MRC orientation covers:

Duties of a Medical Reserve Corps volunteer
How to prepare for a public health emergency
Your role in a public health emergency
Volunteer opportunities available through the MRC

Online orientation:

The online module is titled: "Minnesota Responds Medical Reserve Corps: An Online Orientation for Volunteers."
Participants are eligible to receive up to 0.1 CEU or 1.0 (60 minute) contact hour for successful completion of training including pre-test, post-test and evaluation.
After completing the online course, print out the course completion form and e-mail, fax (651-554-6130) or mail a copy to:
