Orientation Information for MRC-DC Volunteers
 

To be fully registered as an Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) volunteer, you must complete an orientation course, either online or in a classroom setting. After completing the orientation, you will need to complete additional forms and have your photo taken for a picture identification badge.

The MRC orientation covers:

  • Duties of a Medical Reserve Corps volunteer
  • How to prepare for a public health emergency
  • Your role in a public health emergency
  • Volunteer opportunities available through the MRC

  • Be sure to include your name and contact information.
  • You will receive information about next steps, including how to have your photo taken for a picture identification badge.
