On the 16th of August, the Dakota County Board of Commissioners and members of the Sheriff's Office formally thanked Amelia Foster, age 11, for donating approximately $1,900 to the Sheriff's Canine Program. Amelia raised the funds by holding garage sales and collecting donations for the purpose of purchasing a protective vest for Deputy Schuster's canine partner, "Ace." |
