Purpose:
- Ensure that court orders relating to appearances and treatment-related placements are carried out in a timely manner
Responsibilities:
- Transfer inmates to and from Dakota County Jail to correctional facilities all over the state
- Pursue and apprehend persons with arrest warrants
- Transport juveniles to court hearings when charged by cities
- Transport individuals that are mentally challenged for court proceedings and commitment hearings
- Pick up prisoners on Writs to ensure court appearances and returning prisoners to their custodial facility after hearings
