Experience:
- Hired at the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office in January, 1989.
- Has worked in Transport, Court Security, and Patrol from 1989 to 1998.
- Promoted to Investigation and assigned to Narcotics Division in 1998. Assigned to Drug Enforcement Administration (D.E.A.) Task Force in 2000.
- Promoted to Sergeant in 2001 and assigned as Agent in Charge of Dakota County Drug Task Force.
- Promoted to Captain in 2007.
- Promoted to Commander in 2009, initially assigned as Commander in charge of Operations Division, and currently Commander in Charge of Detention Services.
- Was a member of the SWAT Team and Underwater Rescue and Recovery Team, Field Training Officer, Defensive Tactics instructor, and Firearms instructor.
