Sergeant Booker Hodges
Experience:
- Sergeant Hodges has been a member of the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office since 2006.
- He has served as a bailiff, school resource officer, patrol deputy, and detective with the Dakota County Drug Task Force, where he was assigned to investigate gangs and violent offenders.
- He created the Dakota County Crisis Intervention Team (CIT), which trains officers to deal with individuals suffering from mental illness.
- He is currently a member of the Dakota County Honor Guard Unit.
- He serves on the Dakota County Mutual Aid Assistance Group (MAAG).
- He currently is a supervisor in the Patrol Division.
Education:
- Associate’s Degree in Law Enforcement from Minneapolis Community College
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology and Political Science from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida
- Master of Arts Degree in Public Safety Administration from Saint Mary’s University
- Currently pursing Doctorate Degree in Public Administration from Hamline University
