Sergeant Christopher Melton
Experience:
- Sergeant Melton joined the Sheriff’s Office in 1999.
- He has served as a Detective assigned to the Dakota County Drug Task Force and the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration.
- He has also worked in Court Security, Transport Deputy, School Liaison, and Patrol Deputy.
- Has served as an Explorer Advisor, DARE Instructor, High School Mentor Student Program Coordinator, and Field Training Officer.
- He is currently assigned as the Supervisor to the Court Security Division.
Education:
- Bachelor of Police Science Degree from St. Mary’s University
