The Transit Office works with the Metropolitan Council, the Minnesota Valley Transit Authority, the Minnesota Department of Transportation, the Counties Transit Improvement Board and cities and counties in the region to do comprehensive transit planning and innovative and progressive project development.
Current projects include enhancing transit along Cedar Avenue with the addition of bus rapid transit and studying transit options for the Robert Street Corridor and for the Red Rock Corridor, and collaborating with the I-35W Solutions Alliance.
