Who We Are
The mission of the Water Resources Department is to manage the water resources of Dakota County using the best science available, while being responsive to the values, priorities, and expectations of citizens.
Specific work areas involve water testing, groundwater monitoring, shoreland and floodplain management, surface water, site investigation, education, and more.
