Solid waste haulers must have a license from Dakota County to operate. The license year is from July 1 to June 30 of the next year.
Get or renew a license To obtain a license application call the Environmental Management Department at 952-891-7557. License renewal applications will be automatically sent to you if you had a license in the previous year. Submit to the county a completed license application along with proof of proper insurance and a $50 per truck license fee.
