Businesses may drop off yard waste and organic waste (i.e., food scraps and food-soiled paper) at compost sites throughout Dakota County. You must use paper bags, compostable plastic bags or a reusable take-home container to drop off materials at a site. Many hardware stores and garden centers sell compostable bags to the public.
