The landfills below accept items from businesses as long as they are
licensed to haul waste. Otherwise, businesses can
contact a licensed hauler to arrange a pick-up. Call first for hours and materials accepted.
If you have a one-time disposal need the County may allow you or someone else to haul it to the landfill as an unlicensed hauler. Contact the Environmental Management Department for more information.
Sanitary Landfills Sanitary landfills accept mixed municipal solid wastes such as office waste, food waste and clothing. Industrial wastes are also accepted after undergoing co-disposal review and approval by the Environmental Management Department.

Demolition Landfills These landfills take solid waste resulting from the demolition of buildings, roads, and other structures. Materials include concrete, sheet rock, brick, asphalt, treated and untreated wood, masonry, glass and plastic building parts.

Industrial Waste Landfills These landfills take solid waste generated from an industry including non-manufacturing activities such as service and commercial establishments. Industrial solid waste does not include office materials, restaurant and food preparation waste, discarded machinery, demolition waste or household waste. Some examples are foundry sands, metal grindings, paint filters, trimmings and ‘off spec’ materials.
