Hazardous Waste & Toxicity Reduction

​Dakota County strives to create and maintain a healthy environment for residents. To do this, Dakota County:

• Licenses, trains and inspects hazardous waste generators and enforces ordinances.
• Provides residents with information on proper disposal of harmful home chemicals and how to reduce the toxicity of the products we choose to use.
• Operates The Recycling Zone in coordination with Gopher Resource Corporation.
