Pre-Application Form to be considered in Dakota County Board-approved application rounds. County staff determines initial eligibility of projects for the Farmland and Natural Areas Program. Staff will contact applicants once a determination is made. If a project is eligible, a meeting is scheduled to discuss the project, describe the prioritization criteria, and conduct a preliminary property assessment.
After all preliminary information is recorded, eligible project applicants meet with County staff to discuss FNAP, and then are required to complete a more detailed
Final Application Form to be considered for recommendation to the County Board. See a step-by-step process of submitting an application.
The deadline to submit 2013 final applications has not been approved by the County Board.
