Glass food and beverage bottles and jars are recyclable. Place in with curbside recycling or bring to The Recycling Zone. |

The following items are not recyclable. Place them in the garbage.
- Drinking glasses, mugs, dishes, cookware, pottery and vases
- Window and mirror glass
- Containers that held hazardous products, such as nail polish and hobby paints

Did you know? Recycling one glass jar saves enough electricity to light a conventional 60-watt bulb for four hours or an 11-watt compact fluorescent bulb for 20 hours.
