Dakota County is committed to community outreach and education on waste and toxicity reduction issues to promote a healthy environment for current and future generations.
The Community POWER (Partners On Waste Education and Reduction) Program provides funding, training and resources to local organizations to educate and engage community members on waste and toxicity reduction.
Grant funding up to $12,000 is currently available. Applications expressing interest in submitting a Proposal are due Monday, March 15 at noon. Application Guidelines, grant manager contact information, and descriptions of past grantee projects are available at the
