A Sustainability Summit, “Going Green Together,” was held on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008, to kickoff the county-wide High Performance Partnership Program (HiPP) Greening Initiative. The Summit provided community leaders with tools including: case studies, draft policies and resolutions, and local and national resources to assist local governments in creating sustainable communities.

The Going Green Together Sustainability Summit provided the background and framework for the High Performance Partnership Program Greening Initiative. The High Performance Partnership Program Greening Initiative will identify and implement sustainability through collaborative efforts that improve the quality of life in Dakota County.
