County Road 9 Between County Road 60 And Hayes in Lakeville
Dakota County plans to expand County Highway 9 between County Highway 60 and Hayes Avenue in Lakeville. As part of the planning and design process, an Intersection Traffic Control Feasibility Study was performed for the intersections at County Highway 9 and County Highway 60 and at County Highway 9 and Highview Avenue.
The purpose of the Feasibility Study is twofold:
(1) to determine the most appropriate long term level of traffic control for the intersections and (2) if a change in traffic control is needed, to determine in what year that change should occur. The traffic control alternatives are analyzed in the existing, near term (Year 2010), and long term horizons (Year 2030).
