Canada Avenue between 320th Street and County Road 47 is closed to traffic.
This project will construct a new bridge on Canada Avenue, just south of County Road 47 (Northfield Blvd) in Waterford Township over the Cannon River. The new bridge will be constructed west of the existing iron bridge. The iron bridge will be closed to traffic, but it will remain for future rehabilitation and use as a pedestrian and bikeway facility. Construction will begin in Fall 2009, and the new bridge will be completed in Spring 2010.
