The Cedar Avenue project generally consists of pavement widening and corridor improvements including earthwork, grading, bituminous paving, infiltration ponds, lighting, signage, traffic signals, utility work, retaining wall and noise wall installation. The expanded Cedar Avenue will serve bus rapid transit (BRT) in both directions in the cities of Lakeville and Apple Valley. The BRT will continue north where Cedar Avenue becomes Minnesota Trunk Highway (TH) 77 at 138th Street.
