Eligible voters can register to vote by completing a Voter Registration Application before the election, or they can wait to register on the day of the election. Pre-registration for the 2012 State General Election is closed. Voters must register at the pols or through the absentee balloting process.
When to register
Residents should register to vote when any of the following take place:
- Upon turning 18 years old
- Name changes
- Address changes

Go to the Minnesota Secretary of State website to find out if you are registered to vote at your current address.

You can pre-register to vote in person by going to the following locations to complete a Voter Registration Application:

- Western Service Center - Apple Valley
