Dakota County plays a variety of roles in the licensing of child care homes. One of our duties is to see that children are protected and receive care that provides for their development, health, and safety.
We are a resource to parents, the public, and child care providers in meeting these goals. As such, we look at complaints from both the complainant’s point of view and the provider’s.
