The Supervision University is a course developed by Dakota County Social Services that highlights the difference between Minnesota legislative requirements and “best practices” that exceed minimum rule requirements. The purpose of the course is to reduce the number of supervision-related injuries, correction orders, negative actions, complaints and abuse in child care homes.
Licensed child care providers who complete the course over a two-year time period will graduate from the program. Social Services will inform parents who conduct record checks on providers of the completion of this course.
