Before you can become licensed, you must complete:
- CPR class (can be less than four hours)
- First aid training (can be less than eight hours)
- SIDS training
- Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) training
- Child care restraining system training course approved by the Minnesota Department of Safety (Approved courses for car restraints are offered through AAA, Resources for Child Caring and Dakota County Public Health.)
