To qualify... If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a child under age five, you may
qualify for WIC.
- If you live in Dakota County, please call 952-891-7525 to see if you qualify.
- If you do not live in Dakota County, call 1-800-942-3040 for a WIC program in your area.
- To sign up for WIC, you will need to come to an appointment and bring proof of ID, address, and income. Appointments are scheduled for the same day that you call. Call early, appointments fill quickly. Phones open at 8 AM, Monday - Friday. Appointments needing an interpreter (other than Spanish) may be scheduled up to one week in advance. Spanish appointments are scheduled for the same day that you call.
