Senior Outreach and Health Promotion

The Dakota County Public Health Department offers senior health clinics each month in senior settings in Dakota County.  The goal of the program is to promote the health of senior residents and refer people to community resources.

  • Participants are seen individually by a nurse or nursing assistant.
  • People have an opportunity to ask questions about their health and have their blood pressure checked.
  • Each month information is presented on a different health topic, such as heart health, medication safety, mental health, exercise for seniors, preventing diabetes, and preventing falls.

For more information, contact Public Health Intake (or by phone: 651-554-6115).
